How many days before we can renew car istimara(Registration).

My Istimara still valid for 25 Days, is there any issue if i renew it in advance. What will happen to the current vailidy, Will i loose this 25 days if i renew in advance and will the new validity will start from the day i renew my Istimara?

Please advise.
